Rich Tufty

.NET, Java, Flash Programmer

Rich TuftyIt all started in the early days of home-computers for Richard. From Spectrums to the Amiga, he cut his teeth on these great machines and knew that programming would be a big part of his life. Fast-forward a few years and the birth of the Internet gave him a whole new world to explore.

At the tender age of 18, Richard’s first professional IT role was with Lloyds TSB Registrars as a System Tester. There he worked his way into programming, initially developing their DEC system and he then became an integral part of the ecommerce team.

Like many people in IT, he took the opportunity to become freelance. Initially he contracted around & about Brighton, and later an opportunity to work in London couldn’t be missed. There he was involved in various web projects & bespoke Windows business applications.

The opportunity to work for Incredible Box™ was an ideal position for Richard, as he shares the same love to develop cool software that the masses want to use. His love of playing video games led him to work on 3D games for the company, initially using Ogre/Visual Studio.
